  • About the Department:

    The Department of Humanities signifies a marked difference from customary practices of teaching and learning. It offers Pharmacy education as a pleasant pursuit with preparatory courses and introduces innovative practices in laying the foundation for budding Pharmacy aspirants. This department is a rich mix of faculty belonging to various disciplines of Mathematics, Biology, Computer Applications in Pharmacy, Bio-Statistics and Research Methodology, and English. It imparts the fundamental knowledge, which is constitutive in the due course of Pharmacy. The department cultivates the scientific temperament of observing, analyzing and synthesizing all what the students see and experience in the real world. The students will be made to respond to local as well as regional problems and suggest ways for improving the quality of life around them.

    The Department of Humanities initiated faculty research and faculty mentored research in the disciplines of English and Computer Applications. It offers Doctoral Research under the able guidance research supervisors.

    The Vision

    The Faculty of Humanities is intended to be one of the best Faculties locally and internationally, through approved academic programs that have been selected prudently and with expertise, employing the most up-to-date methods of teaching, and by taking advantage of the developing IT to achieve this objective.

    The Mission

    Preparing specialists and highly-distinguished staff in the field of Humanities, and sharing in the social service through providing a variety of teaching programs, and performing scientific researches which contribute to solving social problems, providing consulting and training services in the Faculty's fields of specialization, thanks to the availability of competent staff and distinct teaching environment.

  • To go along with the international academic and scientific development in the fields of science and theoretical studies which the international universities have reached.
  • Promoting the students' experience, thus enabling them acquires a wider scientific experience in their fields of specialization.
  • To qualify the graduates and to provide them with learning skills that enable them to secure their competitive capability in the fields of science and theoretical studies.

  • Merging the scientific programs together and paving the way between the scientific and theoretical studies and the other fields of science by the use of technology.
  • Sharing (participation) in providing consultations, training and educating programs in the fields of science and Humanities studies in order to consolidate the Faculty's role in social service.
